Colee update and cheerleading!

So as I was going through my camera I noticed I have all these random "self-portraits" of Colee.  She LOVES to take pictures with my camera and if they are not of Emee they are of herself.  My favorite one is with her tongue kind of sticking out.  She is so hilarious.
The other pics are thankfully ones that Shannon got of Colee and Livi doing the AF cheerleading mini cheerleaders half time show!  I was really thinking that Colee would not do so well since at the three practices she was either on the ground laying or just standing and staring at the girl next to her.  When Shannon took the girls down she had them put Colee by Livi and it worked out so well!  They both did fantastic and it tickled us all to see them shake their bon bon.  Thanks EsDee, she loved it and thank you Shannon for the pics!
I need to take a minute and recognize what an amazing big sister she is!  She absolutely loves her baby sister so much and wants to be with her all the time.  The only time she gets upset is when the baby wakes her up in the morning or takes her blank...she is not about to let anyone, not even Emee, touch her blank!  Colee even shares her toys with her pretty well which is a big deal.  We are so lucky to have such amazing little girls!!

 This is the first day of pre-school which I forgot to mention she started this year!  She loves it and wants to go every day, not just the three that she is in.  It has been so good for her to have that time for learning and being with other kids...she was beyond ready to go!

Birthday celebrations! Emee & London

this was my first attempt at a cake and I am quite pleased.

London turned 8 on September 12th and had a little party at Boondocks with some school friends.  For that age group I must say I would do that in a heart beat!  No clean up and they were totally entertained.

My parents were both out of town on Emee's actual birthday so a week later we had a grandparents party and let me just say how dang cute Emee was!  She was hilarious with her cake!!  She had no problem digging right in.  At one point she even picked the whole thing up and tried to eat it.  She received three baby dolls and she loves each one!  It is so funny to me just how very different my girls are from one another.  Colee still is not into dolls and really wanted nothing to do with her 1st cake.  They are really more different that they are alike.  I love them to pieces!!  I still can't believe my little Emers is ONE!

Aruba

Mike and I went to Aruba for 6 days and it was AMAZING!  We usually go somewhere in Mexico...Mazatlan, Cancun, Cabo etc. but we were able to get it all worked out for the Caribbean and loved it!  Our first comment to each other when we walked out to catch our cab was, "its so clean!"  I just could not get over how truly clean it was.  Now just for clarification, I generally do not see much of anywhere we go other than the beach, our resort, the airport and a grocery store on the first day.  So I did not even go in to town on this trip but where we were at Eagles beach was picturesque.
Mike went on two dive trips and loved it.  He would wake up at 7 each morning and run to the beach to get our spot right in the front row and then spend the remainder of the day there until 7 at night.  He was quite literally in Mike Heaven!
This was such a great babymoon for me!  I actually came home rested and am just now needing my daily naps again.
