Colee's Birthday was a great day!! We had such a fun filled day with her. We set up her table with her princess table cloth (that she had been playing with all week long) and princess plates and cake and presents the night before so it was all ready when she woke up in the morning. She was SO excited!! Of course she wanted to eat her cake right away and didn't want to wait for people to come. She could not wait for Camo to get her so her party to start. We were so excited he could be here with us. We had cake and ice cream and she blew out her candle and opened presents. She had a great time. Then we went to the movie, The Princess & The Frog...so cute!! We went with Aunt Sher, Londie, Marks and Daddy. She was so excited to be with her favorite girls. During the movie she kept looking over at me with a huge smile on her face and about half way through she looked at me again and said, "mommy, I love the movie". So cute. And yes, this is almost the first time she had been to the show. Aunt Sher took her on Thanksgiving day but she fell asleep twenty minutes into the show. She was wide awake the whole time for this one. We will definitely be seeing all the cute kids shows now.
After the show we went and got some yummy hot chocolate and then Aunt Sher and Marks took her to see the lights at Thanksgiving Point with London. She got to see Santa...she LOVES Santa.
IT was a really fun year, she is at such a fun age.

Our Princess turns 3!!
We can't believe that our first baby girl is 3!! It has been such a great three years. Colee is such an amazing little girl that brings us so much joy. She is our best friend and makes us laugh so much. A lot has changed in her life this last year and she seems so much older. I often have to remind myself she is only 2, now 3.
The things she is into now:
-Max & Ruby!! They are on her mind or the tv literally all day and night. She even mimics the things Ruby does in the episodes. Like last night in her tub she had lined all of her toys up on the side of the tub and I asked her what she was doing and she told me they were getting ready for the talent show. That is exactly what Ruby had done on the episode she watched right before her tub. And yesterday Ruby was going ice skating so Colee used the tile floor for her ice arena and was skating for uncle Heath and I.
-Colee LOVES being a big sister! She loves her baby sister so much. She wants me to tell the baby everything that she is doing at any given moment. "mom tell my baby sister I am eating a sandwich", "mom tell my baby sister I am singing a song" "mom tell my baby sister I can do a cartwheel". She wants her to be in the know and that her big sister can do so many things.
-Colee started going to Sunbeams for a few minutes each Sunday to get the kids used to their new schedule in church. She learned a new song and now every day she will come up to us, out of nowhere, and say, "do you know the song Jesus was born in Judeah"? and she starts to sing it word for word in a very low voice. It is so cute!! She really does know all the words for both versus.
-Nana is her BEST friend. She wants to be my mom's shadow at all times. She will hear someone come home and run and open our door and yell upstairs.."hello?? Who's here?" if it is nana we will more than likely not see her the rest of the night. And in the morning when she wakes up it is Nana she wants most of all. This totally works out for me as I am usually just getting back to sleep with Emee when Colee is getting up so I love to say "YES" go see Nana.
-I am quit certain I have a little Picaso on my hands. She really enjoys drawing and coloring and has gotten really pretty good at it. She can stay in the lines on her coloring books and she can draw stick figures as of last night. I plan on helping her to really get into art and encourage her love of being creative.
Colee girl...we love you so much!! Happy Birthday baby girl!
