Aruba

Mike and I went to Aruba for 6 days and it was AMAZING!  We usually go somewhere in Mexico...Mazatlan, Cancun, Cabo etc. but we were able to get it all worked out for the Caribbean and loved it!  Our first comment to each other when we walked out to catch our cab was, "its so clean!"  I just could not get over how truly clean it was.  Now just for clarification, I generally do not see much of anywhere we go other than the beach, our resort, the airport and a grocery store on the first day.  So I did not even go in to town on this trip but where we were at Eagles beach was picturesque.
Mike went on two dive trips and loved it.  He would wake up at 7 each morning and run to the beach to get our spot right in the front row and then spend the remainder of the day there until 7 at night.  He was quite literally in Mike Heaven!
This was such a great babymoon for me!  I actually came home rested and am just now needing my daily naps again.
In true Mike and Heather fashion we have very limited pictures but here are a few.

 These little buggers were EVERYwhere!

Happy Birthday Emee Roxana!

We just can not believe our baby girl turned ONE today!  This year has gone way too fast.
Emee has been such a joy to our little family.  It started out rough with her nightly screaming but by six months she out grew that and really was great up until six pm each night.  Her daddy calls her baby smiley because she always wakes up with the biggest grin and it just makes our day.  It's a good thing too because there was a few weeks there that she was getting up at 5 am ready to party!  But with that sweet smile we just could not be upset.
Colee has LOVED being a big sister and really is the best big sister ever.  She loves to play with her baby and her favorite thing to do with her is wrestle.  Where did my girls learn to wrestle is what I want to know.  She also loves to play teacher and swords with her (they use hangers as swords).
Mommy has loved having a baby that is a momma's girl!  She has really brought such a sweet little spirit to our family and I am so grateful for her.
Some of Emee's favorites right now are:
-Baby Einstein...thank Heaven for this show!  It can keep her occupied for an hour every morning.
-taking a tub.  She goes wild in the tub!  She screams and splashes and slides all over the place.  She is quit hilarious.
-being outside.
-right now she wants to walk so bad but does not quit have it down so she uses her walking toys and loves them.
-learning to eat on her own.  She prefers puffs but also enjoys cheerios and lucky charms.  Just like London, she is not a fan of bananas :(  they bring on a pretty instant gag reflex.
-she LOVES her Papa and when we ask her where Papa is she will point up in the air, he lives upstairs.
-she also loves London and the Brems...we do too!
These are just a few highlights of her growth so far.  She truly is just amazing and I could brag all day.

We love you baby girl...Happy Birthday

Coming December 2010....

Luke Michael Pinegar.....It's true, we are having a boy! The first "Pinegar" male to be born to Mike's family. There are two other grandsons but they did not have the Pinegar last name so the pressure was on us to produce an heir.
We are so excited now that the shock has worn off. He will be here sometime in the beginning of December. We feel so blessed.

4th of July

This year we woke up EARLY to go to the balloon festival in Provo...early like 5:30! We got there and all the balloons were up and the girls got to walk around and see them up close....BUT...they never took off :( Apparently although it was not windy, not even so much as a breeze, down here there were winds up where the balloons would be. Maybe next year because it was so worth it.
The Hansen's switched it up this year since my mom was in charge. She took a little note from her ward and had a 4th of July breakfast. It was fantastic. We did learn that SHADE is a must even that early in the morning.
Since the 4th was on Sunday and the state workers got Monday off it felt like we celebrated all weekend long...it was great.
I love this Country and the 4th is one of my favorite Holidays!!
