Fall is in the air!!
I am so excited to be in Utah County right now and feel the change of seasons! I love the brisk mornings and the cool breeze in the evening! I have really missed that the last few years in St. Gorgeous.
Although Colee does not go to school, I bought her new clothes for fall since she really only had outfits for summer or winter, nothing for the in between temps. I even found some cute little jeans that fit her perfectly. It seems that all the little girl jeans just have the super straight leg that just does not work for my little angel.
Since we moved back up North Colee has grown up so much. She has shown a lot of interest in the potty this last week. I just can't believe it, where did my baby go? About two times a day she will come up to me and start pulling up her shirt and taking her pants down and say "potty, potty, mom" and then I will set her on it. She actually hates it once she is on it so I know potty training is still a few months off, but still...where did my baby go, seriously?!? She is starting to talk up a storm now which I love!! It makes communicating so much easier! I have to translate for her often with others but at least I know what she is saying and in turn can help get her what she needs at that moment. She is a strong little spirit with such a deep voice for a girl! She is working on her nice voice when asking for the things she wants, thanks to aunt Sheraka who will say, "how do you ask nice?"
Right now her favorite toy or rather constant companion is her baby doll! It is so dang cute how she loves her baby. She wants everyone else to love her baby too. I think this Christmas is going to be a blast with the ideas I am getting now that she has so much personality!!
Colee is a little Colleen junior in almost all ways. We did right in naming her after my mom. They seriously look so much a like and Colee follows Nana around as often as possible. Nana is one of her first words in the morning, when we get home, or when the door opens. She loves her Nana so much. And not to count Papa out....she loves her Papa too. He is the one that will play on the floor with her and let her jump all over him. When she was a little baby, in fact right up until a few months ago, she would lay on the couch and drink her baba with Papa and just chill with him...he loved it!! We aren't sure what happened to that little chill baby and some days I miss that the most!!!
I have a lot of pictures to post but I need to collect them from everyone who took them for me. Our camera is a dud and until I get a new one I must rely on my wonderful friends and family who take the cute shots of my beautiful baby girl for me.

Happy Birthday Dudes!!
Happy Birthday Ethan & Avery! They turned ten this month and before they moved we had a birthday party at The Quarry. They had such a good time with their cousins. Isaac, Swisher, Mike and Sheraka were there to help them and Lea and I were up stairs taking pics, watching Colee go crazy wanting to be there with all the big kids, setting up the bday cake etc.
They all did such a good job. Everyone wanted to race each other and did such a great job!
Happy Birthday boys! I hope you had a great day! We love you tons!!
Kelley Family Olympics
We have had the most wonderful few weeks with Isaac (now that he is back from training), Lea and the Boys before they move to Washington!! We have all been wrapped up in the Olympics and after one of Michael Phelps incredible wins the boys and London decided they wanted to have a family Olympics. So Ethan and I printed up numbers for the kids and once uncle Swisher and Heath got home we all headed over to the neighbors with the huge back yard.
We did all sorts of competitions...relays, long jump, racing...it was a lot of fun. Coach Kelley was really into it, showing the kids how to start correctly and then miss Lea decided she wanted to race Sheraka and I!! I agreed but Sheraka and I were laughing too hard to really give Lea any competition...I wish I had a pic of her face, she was so serious!!! And she won!
